Libretto Inc. wins awards
Strategic writing firm recognized for work on annual report and print materials

BOSTON, July 19, 2002 – Libretto Inc., a strategic writing firm based in Boston’s South End, announced today that two recent projects – an annual report for the Greater Boston Food Bank and a package of promotional print materials New York’s Metro TV – have won awards in national and international competitions.

  • The Greater Boston Food Bank 2001 Annual Report won a Silver Award from the San Diego, CA-based League of American Communications Professionals. The report, the second consecutive that Libretto has written for the Food Bank, received high marks from the judges for the Letter to Shareholders, Report Narrative, Readability, and Clarity. Libretto’s creative partner on the project was the Boston-based design firm Communication via Design.

  • Print promotions written for Metro TV, a New York City-based local cable television station, received a Silver Award at the 24th annual BDA Awards Show, held during the PROMAX&BDA 2002 conference in Los Angeles, CA. Libretto collaborated with Neeson Pearl Creative Group and Dickinson Associates of Boston in developing the materials.

Libretto completes multiple projects for RSA Security

BOSTON, May 15, 2002 – RSA Security is a world leader in developing security solutions that enable companies to implement trusted e-business processes. Since the fall of 2001, Libretto has completed approximately 20 naming and writing projects for the company, including its 2001 annual report. Many of these projects have been developed in parallel, with up to four Libretto writers working with RSA’s executives and marketing directors. In addition to the annual report, Libretto has completed a diverse mix of projects to date, including product brochures, case studies, and other corporate collateral; internal and external newsletters; and trade show and kiosk scripts.

Materials created by strategic writing firm earn honors

BOSTON, MA, May 9, 2002 – Libretto Inc., a strategic writing firm based in Boston’s South End, announced today that recent projects have earned honors.

  • On-air and print promotions written for Metro TV, a New York City-based local cable television station, have been chosen as finalists in the 24th annual BDA Awards Show, to be held during the PROMAX&BDA 2002 conference in Los Angeles, CA, on Thursday, June 27. Libretto collaborated with Neeson Pearl Creative Group of Boston in developing the promotions.

  • A brochure and a catalog created by Libretto for the Art Institute of Boston won a Silver Medal and a Merit Award, respectively, at the 17th annual Admissions Advertising Awards in February. Libretto worked with Boston- based graphic design firm Minelli Inc. on these pieces.

  • A variety of print collateral pieces for Manulife Capital Corporation and Converge Inc. written by Libretto and designed by Boston-based kor group were chosen to be published in the 18th edition of American Corporate Identity Annual.
