Libretto writes India brochure for FedEx
BOSTON, November 30, 2007 – Libretto is pleased to announce
the completion of a 12-page brochure for FedEx. Created with
design partner Tank, the brochure serves as a reference guide
for US-based companies that ship to and from India. It includes
factual data on India’s industries, population, and
key economic regions, tips on doing business with Indian
associates,
and practical information about FedEx’s India-specific
shipping capabilities.
Libretto worked closely with Tank to conduct research on
India and gather critical information from existing FedEx
materials.
The result is a highly informative and visually attractive
piece that succinctly relays the advantages of doing business
in India with FedEx. “This project brought Libretto
together with two companies we highly respect,” comments
lead writer Alison Case. “Tank did an incredible
job as project manager and designer. We’re thrilled
with the way this piece turned out.”
Tank and Libretto are currently working together on a multi-phased
email marketing campaign for fedex.com. The campaign
informs fedex.com users about ongoing improvements made
to the
FedEx website, including streamlined shipment procedures
and the
addition of mapping capabilities.
Libretto completes website for FP3,
Fort Point's newest residential option
BOSTON, November 28, 2007 – Libretto has completed the
information architecture, Web content, and promotional writing
for FP3, a stylish new residential choice in Boston’s
Fort Point neighborhood. Conceived by developer Berkeley Investments
and designed by architect/designer David Hacin, FP3 comprises
97 distinct residences ranging from loft-style apartments to
luxury penthouses. The building also features new restaurant
and retail establishments created by renowned chef Barbara
Lynch.
The FP3 website (www.fp3boston.com) was the final component
of a year-long marketing endeavor for FP3, in which Libretto
named the building, wrote several key pieces of collateral,
and helped craft advertisements that have appeared in The
Boston Globe, Boston Homes, and Boston Common. Developed
in conjunction
with the graphic design firm whydesignworks, the print and
Web pieces form a consistent, distinct, and memorable brand
image for the new residence.
Over the course of the project, Libretto collaborated extensively
with the marketing team assembled by Berkeley Investments,
which, in addition to Hacin, Lynch, and whydesignworks,
included marketing consultant John Neale of Sprogis Neale
and Web
developer Boston Logic. “This project required close
collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders, and an
intimate understanding
of the vision behind FP3,” says Neal Kane, president
of Libretto. “We’re thrilled to have had the
chance to work with such a talented and diverse group of
professionals,
and to have contributed to the success this exciting project.”

Libretto begins fourth travel catalog for Harvard
Alumni Association
BOSTON, February 5, 2007 – Libretto recently began working
on the fourth volume of Travels, the Harvard Alumni
Association Travel Program catalog of trip offerings for Harvard
University alumni and their families. The June 2006 issue was
HAA’s first such comprehensive catalog, replacing individual
brochures produced in the past. The second issue was completed
in September and the third in December. Travels includes

which participants travel with fellow alumni and study leaders,
many of them Harvard professors and scholars.
Working with tour operators and HAA staff and in collaboration
with korn design, Libretto creates detailed descriptions of
trips to more than 65 locales around the world, as well as
study leader biographies and reviews of recent Harvard University
Press travel-related publications. “HAA is dedicated
to offering stimulating travel programs for its alumni and
sustaining the Harvard connection among them,” says Sarah
Jensen, project manager and writer. “We’re pleased
to be part of a project so committed to community-building

Libretto continues editorial relationship
with RSA Security
BOSTON, February 5, 2007 – Libretto recently completed the editorial component
of the spring 2007 issue of Vantage magazine, a publication of RSA,
The Security Division of EMC. RSA offers solutions in information-centric security
including identity assurance and access control, encryption and key management,
compliance and security information management, and fraud protection. Libretto
debuted as Vantage’s editorial team with the magazine’s
fall 2006 issue.
“ We really enjoy our role in helping to produce Vantage magazine,” says
Managing Editor Chris Kane. “It allows us to draw on
our many years of experience working with the RSA team, and
we’re pleased to be working with art director Ronn Campisi,
who is a widely respected designer. Most of our staff have
prior experience with mainstream media, so we’re able
to tap those skills to produce a piece that’s engaging,
thought-provoking, and a good read.”
The journal is an open forum where global customers, partners,
and industry experts can discuss security issues and trends.
The current issue includes articles on EMC’s recent acquisition
of RSA Security and the ensuing integrated security strategy,
vouching protocols being developed at RSA Labs, and how adaptive
authentication thwarts banking fraud. Vantage is published
