Cambridge College
Founded
in 1971, Cambridge College serves a diverse population of working
adults and boasts the lowest tuition of any private
secondary institution in Massachusetts. In conjunction with our
creative partners, Project Power and Fahrenheit, Libretto was
contracted to provide messaging for two critical documents: the
case statement and related inserts for The Campaign for Cambridge
College, a $50 million fundraising effort; and the College’s
2003 annual report. Both of these efforts involved close collaboration
with the College’s president, chancellor, board of trustees,
and other key stakeholders.
The case statement positions Cambridge College as a guardian of
one of the key facets of the American dream: the ability to advance
in life through higher education. The piece balances an overview
of the College’s programs, accomplishments, and differentiators
with the strategic underpinnings of its fundraising objectives.
The 2003 annual report provides a comprehensive picture of the
school and its achievements during that year, while adding a human
voice through the personal stories of those whose lives have been
transformed by a Cambridge College education. This narrative was
framed around the theme of “Transforming Lives, Strengthening
Communities.”
“Our collaboration with the clever and insightful Libretto
writing team resulted in two remarkable publications that truly
capture
the essence and mission of Cambridge College. We look forward
to continuing our work with them in the future.”
