Greater Boston Food Bank
Libretto
has written three annual reports for The Greater Boston Food Bank,
a nonprofit organization that distributes over 20
million pounds of food annually to hundreds of local hunger-relief
agencies in a dedicated partnership to feed the region's hungry.
The Food Bank requires its annual reports to perform three functions:
to show how the organization has responsibly managed its finances
over the past year; to demonstrate to supporters The Food Bank’s
continuing need; and to explain how the organization fulfills
its mission strategically and operationally.
For the 2002 report, we worked with the client and our design
partner, Communication Via Design, to create a piece that would
highlight The Food Bank’s highly capable fiscal stewardship
and efficient operations. Based on the theme of “Charitable
Values/Business Goals,” the copy assures prospective and
current supporters that The Food Bank – and the hundreds
of thousands of families and individuals who rely on the organization’s
member feeding programs – extract the maximum value and
impact from their generous donations.
“The Greater Boston Food Bank has benefited from Libretto’s
writing expertise. They understand our mission and our communications
objectives, and they work tirelessly to ensure that they deliver
what we need. We’re very pleased with the results.”
