Harvard Alumni Association Travel Program

The Harvard Alumni Association Travel Program, dedicated to offering stimulating travel programs for Harvard alumni and their families, offers more than 50 trips each year to all seven continents. Trips range from explorations of the art and architecture of Europe to the Silk Road of China to Antarctica on board an icebreaker. Accompanied by Harvard faculty and fellow alumni, travelers renew their connection with the University and participate in a lifelong learning experience.

Since 2006, Libretto has written content for Travels, the HAA Travel Program catalog published three times a year for distribution to Harvard alumni. Working with HAA staff and in collaboration with korn design, Libretto creates detailed trip descriptions, study leader profiles, and feature stories focusing on select destinations. In addition to researching, interviewing, and writing, Libretto assists in conceptualizing stories, managing the revision and approval process, and copyediting content provided by tour operators in order to maintain consistent editorial style.
