Pine Street Inn
Libretto
has a dynamic and positive working relationship with Pine
Street Inn, New England’s largest homeless shelter and
our neighbor in the South End. Our work with Pine Street has
ranged from branding initiatives to serving dinner to guests
at the Inn.
One of Pine Street’s fundraising initiatives involves selling
holiday cards that feature the work of
local artists to local organizations. Libretto worked with our creative partner, Dickinson
Associates, to create a direct mail piece promoting card sales.
For an advertisement about the holiday card program, we brainstormed
ideas that would allude to both the cards themselves and the
plight of Boston’s homeless. Readers whose eyes are initially
drawn to the card are then surprised by the ad’s
compelling message.
