TeleAtlas

Netherlands-based Tele Atlas is one of the world’s leading providers of digital maps and dynamic content used for navigation and location-based services. Consumers, companies, and government agencies throughout the world access Tele Atlas map data every day through Internet mapping applications, wireless carriers, and portable and in-car navigation devices.

In 2006, Tele Atlas contracted Libretto to revamp its website in conjunction with design company CGI Interactive. Libretto restructured the site’s architecture and wrote more than 50 pages of Web content, leveraging prior knowledge of the company gained from working on nearly 30 projects with Tele Atlas over the course of a single year, including white papers, datasheets, and flash demos. Through the website and a series of strategic communications, Libretto helped Tele Atlas position itself as a longtime innovator and market leader. Tele Atlas was purchased in December 2007 by TomTom, a developer of portable GPS navigation systems.
