MIT Office of the Arts
The MIT Office of the Arts was looking to
create promotional materials that would
emphasize the breadth and vibrancy of
arts-related activities at MIT. Libretto was
contracted to write the overview brochure
for the arts at MIT, whose content was
subsequently reshaped to form the basis
for the office’s website.
Working with our creative partner, Forsythe
Design, Libretto conducted a student focus
group and interviewed a broad range of
students, faculty, and staff members to gather
content for the offline and online components of the campaign. First-person narratives
were crafted that captured the range of artistic activities that thrive at MIT, and
provided insights about how the arts coexist successfully with the Institute’s leadership
in science and technology. The resulting pieces, co-authored with our client, have
provided a significant boost to the arts’ profile within the MIT community.
