Sonus Networks

In just three years, Sonus Networks had established a strong leadership position within its target market: providing infrastructure solutions that enable communications carriers to deliver innovative voice services. Management wanted the 2000 annual report - the company's first - to highlight these ccomplishments, remind investors of the huge opportunity Sonus was pursuing, and reaffirm the company’s determination to stay on course through uncertain times.

Working with our creative partner, Raincastle Communications, Libretto developed a creative concept based on the theme of “The New Voice.” Callout quotes included the voices of Sonus customers and employees, further emphasizing the company’s presence as a new and commanding voice in telecommunications. Defining firm word counts for each spread early on helped ensure sufficient space for graphic elements, and for incorporating feedback from numerous internal contributors.
