Celebrating Acts of Faith and Imagination

Libretto has collaborated with the organization’s leaders—including the late Dr. Paul Farmer and former Board chair Ophelia Dahl—and other members of the PIH team to craft high-profile appeals for the organization that have helped raise more than $2 million in donations.

Developing content for these critical fundraising communications, and for the organization’s 2013 annual report, has provided us with valuable insight into the “acts of faith and imagination” that constitute much of its work. This spirit of solidarity encompasses not only PIH’s relationships with its partner organizations—who train local community health workers to deliver healthcare services to their neighbors—but also with its donors, who show exceptional generosity and compassion toward individuals battling the effects of poverty and disease.
