Much More Than A Teacher's College

Yes, BSU produces more teachers than any other college or university in the state; and yes, it is one of the more cost-effective universities in Massachusetts. But it is so much more. Libretto and our design partner kor group have been working over the past four years to unveil the impressive reality of all the amazing opportunities BSU offers.

Our engagement began with a far-reaching discovery process that resulted in a findings presentation, a one-page “manifesto,” and a full-scale messaging platform that served to underpin all future materials. With access to the highest levels of administration throughout the university, as well as faculty, students, and alumni, we were able to unearth stories of transformation and achievement far beyond what most people think of when they think of BSU.

Among our deliverables targeted at undergraduate admissions were a comprehensive lookbook, an academic offerings brochure that highlighted the enormous breadth of programs offered through BSU’s various schools and colleges, and a suite of emails targeting interested students from first inquiry to acceptance and beyond. We also developed specialized brochures for particular academic areas that BSU wished to emphasize, such as Science & Math, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Performing Arts.

Most recently, we have developed a range of materials for the College of Graduate Studies, including brochures, program sheets, and a number of pieces focusing on important information that prospective graduate students need to be successful at BSU. Beginning in 2020, we have worked closely with Bridgewater’s communications and advancement teams to develop the messaging and theme for their upcoming comprehensive campaign, Without Exception.
