Libretto helped develop the concept and content for Midflight, an update to stakeholders partway through the organization’s 2016-2020 strategic plan.

Libretto’s work with the organization began in 2018 with the publication of Midflight, which was created to mark the midpoint of Audubon’s strategic plan. Next up was the creation of the case statement and theme for Elevate, a $750 million fundraising campaign (the largest in Audubon’s history). We went on to develop the content for targeted Elevate campaigns in California, Florida, Connecticut, and New York, each of which involved adapting core campaign messages to reflect the specialized work taking place in those critical states.

Strategic communications developed in conjunction with the Elevate campaign launch included a video, website, and a special insert in Audubon magazine. Our Audubon portfolio also encompasses content development for multiple annual reports, high-profile donor proposals, and stewardship communications.

Our extensive, far-reaching engagement with Audubon has supported the organization’s efforts to evolve its fundraising culture, promote bird-friendly conservation at the state and national level, and advance vital conservation initiatives that benefit birds and people. Over the course of that work we have collaborated successfully with hundreds of Audubon stakeholders nationwide—from the CEO and senior leadership team to national and state board members and field-based staff.
